While one group of swimmers is in the pool for swim lessons, the other group participates in discussion. On this day, children were taught about what happens to garbage when it is disposed of both properly and improperly.
After the discussions, students participate in activities to reinforce the topics covered in the discussion. On this day it was a coloring activity about proper trash disposal.
Advanced swimmers receive some coaching from Swim Tayka's local coordinator prior to swimming laps.
